Meditation has long been used as a tool to connect the inner-self and higher guidance from a source and power greater than ourselves. Meditation is a purposeful action, meant to quiet and still the mind/body and heighten awareness. It is the purpose/intent behind the act of meditating that determines what you meditate upon. This could be as simple as relaxation, or for healing or for working with your higher power and the angels to overcome a physical manifestation of dis-ease, or connecting with another spirit to grow and learn.
